Pakistan playing well

India, Pakistan

Pakistan are off to a great start chasing a target of 322. Kamran Akmal and Salman Butt started off well. But Kamran fell to Yuvraj Singh off the bowling of RP Singh for 13 runs in the 6th over. Younis Khan is currently batting with Salman Butt. While Salman Butt is middling the ball and doing all the scoring, Younis Khan is struggling at the crease.

Right now, Pakistan require 244 runs to win from 216 balls (36 overs) with 9 wickets in hand.

Salman Butt is gone. Big big wicket for India at a very crucial stage. Butt dragged the ball on to his stumps off the bowling of Irfan Pathan. New batsmen Yousuf Youhana was very nearly out of the very first ball. Very close lbw decision not given out by the umpire. Television replays suggest the bowl would have hit the middle stump!

Mohd. Yousuf stumped by Dhoni off the bowling of Harbhajan Singh for 12 runs in 25 balls.

Younis Khan playing well, he needs to be there right till the end here and someone needs to support him ably at the other end, for Pakistan to win this. Not gonna be easy.

Pakistan won the thriller by 4 wickets with just 1 balls to spare. Afridi and Malik played agressive cricket and Younis Khan anchored the innings.

Man of the match – Younis Khan
